Mexico came back from being a goal down in the 5th minute to beat Ecuador 2-1. The win is Mexico's second in a row and takes them to the top of Group G, ahead of the likes of Italy and Croatia.

Cameroon defeated Saudi Arabia 1-0 to join Germany on top of Group E. The win also ended Saudi Arabia's World Cup campaign as the Asians have lost both of their matches so far.

Germany discover that Robbie is as Keane as Roy

The Republic of Ireland pulled off a last minute draw with Germany in their
Group E encounter. Robbie Keane equalised for the Irish in injury time after Miroslav Klose had
given Germany the lead in the 19th minute.

Tunisia no match for Russia

Russia overcame a gutsy performance by Tunisia to run out 2-0 winners in a Group H match. Tunisia played bravely but were undone by two Russian goals in the space of five minutes in the second half.
